Horatius Bonar (1808-1889) was a doctor of divinity and minister for the Church of Scotland. He was a prolific author, poet, and hymn writer. His hymns include "A Few More Years Shall Roll," "I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say," and "Light of the World, Forever Shining." His books include Words to Winners of Souls, The Everlasting Righteousness, God's Way of Holiness, and God's Way of Peace.
