Maher Niger licenciou-se como arquitecto no Departamento de Arquitectura da Universidade de Ciência e Tecnologia de Ahsanullah. Também concluiu o seu mestrado em Informação Geográfica para Planeamento e Gestão Urbana na Universidade de Twente, Holanda. Actualmente trabalha como Professora Assistente no Departamento de Arquitectura da AUST.
