Debut historical fiction author Iain Stewart has military history in his genes. Born to veterans of World War II, Iain was a Canadian military reservist for twenty-four years and served on active duty in Bosnia and Afghanistan, achieving the rank of Captain. He and his wife have a home in Nanaimo, B.C., where he is a part-time volunteer at a military museum-when he's not working in Yellowknife, NWT, as an engineering laboratory manager. They have one daughter, three sons, and six grandchildren.
