Dr. Dipankar Das is an ophthalmologist by profession. He has an ardent interest in literature, particularly in English poetry. He had introduced the concept of "Photo-Poems" in 2013. He loves to create mini poems on various current and past themes, including creation on nature, theology, life, places, seasons, and many more. He is a keen photographer, painter and likes to correlate his creative verses with his photographs and his paintings/arts. Dr. Das had published 4 books on English poetry, titled 'Reminiscences - In silent couplets!' (2014), 'Sparks of Joy' (2016), 'Firefly: On little wings' (2017) and 'Soul of Indigo' (2018) from Partridge India (A Penguin Random House Company).
