Lucie Byatt lives in Laatzen near Hannover, Germany, but was born in Shropshire, England in the 1980s. She won her first poetry competition, age 10, which led to a lifelong love of words...after completing A-levels in Classics, Drama and English Literature, she studied Film and Drama at Reading University. Real life took over, and she moved to Germany, learned German and had two daughters. But after the pandemic and the big 4.0. she got thinking about returning to her dream: writing.
