Murder, Crime, Suspense, and Horror Poems from 9th grade ELA students at the Global Learning Collaborative will be dark and spooky, or funny and light-hearted, depending on what type of crime they wrote about. Some are real accounts, some are made up. Poets experimented with writing from different points of view, like the point of view of the criminal, the victim, or even the bank that is being robbed. Poems are of all different forms, from a haiku to a limerick, a triolet to a free verse, with an entire section of elegies to honor those they lost. Enjoy! And Read With Caution!
