Autorenporträt
Nicole Nasr holds a doctorate in Counseling Psychology, and is writer, public speaker, mental health awareness advocate, and university lecturer. She is based in London and works in two established private clinics located in the city. Dr Nasr is very passionate about empowering others, focusing mainly on her desire to allow each individual to have his or her own voice. In her practice, she pays great attention to the different dynamics that surround each individual and understands the need for systemic perceptions. Asa result, Dr Nasr decided to shed light on wives of diplomats and provide them with a platform to share their stories. Throughout this experience, Dr Nasr learned the great potential of empowerment and validation, and vowed to make it her professional mission. Dr Nasr is Lebanese and lived for the first part of her life in Montreal, before moving to Beirut at the age of 17. She moved to London at the age of 24, and studied psychology at the postgraduate level. She refers to Beirut as her home and refuge, and travels there as often as possible, in order to be surrounded by friends and family.
