Stacie Smith's third collection of poems, Real News, once again delivers verse at its finest - straightforward and discerning, yet utterly boundless. The topic this time is real news, and the telling cuts to the bone, starting with "Who Asks to Be Born" and ending with "Who Cares if the World Ends." In the present era of 24/7 news - in any era - Smith's poems are essential reading.
