Autorenporträt
Meet Kimberly Mejia Meet Kimberly Mejia, an Author, Motivational Speaker, Philanthropist, Entrepreneur, Mother & Wife. The mother of 3 has always had a passion for women. Kim started a non-profit organization, K Mejia Community Association to assist sex-trafficking, domestic violence, and substance abuse survivors. Through her non-profit organization Kim operated a transitional half-way house providing the survivors with a second chance. Finding Sistership Through her interactions with the women within her transitional home and other colleagues, Kim realized we as women tend to bully each other or let other women bully us. This realization led Kim to write "Real Woman Real Talk" to explore the complexities of women and address changes we could make within ourselves to assist other women to grow in confidence without judging other women as they grow. The foundation of the book is identifying good and bad judgement behaviors while growing spirituality and finding your self-worth. Finding Inspiration Kim's book was a huge success selling more than 30,000 copies, with the assistance of her daughter. Kim's daughter was critical to her success, then tragically she passed away. Kim took a break from her work as an author and philanthropist and suffered a deep depression. Through the love of her family and professional help Kim overcame her depression and used her experience as the words in Vol. 2 of "Real Woman Real Talk."
