Marcus van der Erve tells the amazing story of his search for a diverting and, what is now recognized as, novel way of watching our reality. He shows how this view allows us better to understand ourselves, the company we work for, the nation we live in, the leaders we follow, the family we cherish, even the very stuff that shapes our world. He explains how this will help us manage our success by means of the underlying conditions, conditions that constantly, yet predictably change. No longer do we need to be locked up in a prison of our own making. The gate to continued success and happiness is open. A new era is not just beginning. It is already here and now. Some scholars who know his work call the author a philosopher. Marcus sees himself first and foremost as a scientist with a mission. He leaves no stone unturned to unveil what really shapes our world. He does so refreshingly at the crossroads of the natural and social sciences. His international experience as adviser ensures that his conclusions are ready to be applied in everyday life. What matters to him is that his findings improve the chances of nations, institutions, and his readers.¿
