Introducing the Really Confusing Coloring Book by Matti Charlton - a kaleidoscope of mayhem and mirth! Get ready to embark on a hilariously baffling coloring adventure, where the lines between reality and absurdity blur into an artful chaos of amorphous shapes and puzzling outlines. If you're looking for a coloring book that's as brilliantly bewildering as it is sidesplitting, this is it. This madcap masterpiece features 98 pages of horribly detailed-yet-unclear shapes that defy logic, leaving you simultaneously amused and perplexed. Whether you're an artistic genius or an abstract expressionist, this book is your passport to a world of creative lunacy. It's a triumph of chaos, meticulously handcrafted for those who find humor in the unconventional. Matti Charlton, the genius behind this ingenious absurdity, was inspired by their unique perspective as an individual with autism. Now, they're sharing their whimsical vision with the world. So, are you ready to dive headfirst into a whirlwind of absurdity? Grab your crayons, colored pencils, and a sense of humor and embark on an artistic odyssey that's as brilliant as it is bonkers. The Really Confusing Coloring Book isn't just a coloring book; it's a portal to a world where humor meets artistry and leaves you in stitches.
Autorenporträt
Matti's collection of poetry "the cosmology of love" features regularly on the top 100 gay and lesbian books of all time, and their collection "ouroboros" is a transgender classic of transformation. Nevertheless, those collections were from 2003 and 2005, respectively, and the transgender and queer poet has not released a single thing since then. Until now. After 18 years hiatus, Matti returns with "Unring.existence.poetrie.par.matti.charlton." and it's their most ambitious collection yet. This hardcover edition is a special release and is the only format the collection will be made available in. The collection of over 30 poems plus the short story "The Smiling Man" round out the collection, and it includes the poem "The Last Unicorn" which Matti read and performed at the Transgender Day of Remembrance ceremonies at the 519 community centre on November 20th, 2023.
