Have you often contemplated exactly how race relations, socio-economic conditions and myths about such matters have a truth and realism as opposed to an idealistic perspective of what is socially or politically correct? We all have perception of a utopia in the world and what should be. But in our innermost soul strive to know what is real, what is tangent and truthful as opposed to how we think or assume things ought to be. This book was born in my mind from a lifetime of experiences, thoughts, realities, dreams, and dysfunction of my life as a seemingly successful black man of mixed heritage who was at one time confused in essence about my identity and purpose in life. Being able to do so must first entail a sense truth and honesty that beguiles most Americans. Being the product of the civil rights movement, racially intertwined with others biologically and representing all of the best and maybe the worst of America has made me what I am.
