The Authors: Born in Barcelona in 1925, Manuel Duran shared the exile with the philosophers sketched in this book and had the good fortune of studying philosophy under the guidance of several of them. He is now Professor of Spanish Literature at Yale University.
William Kluback is a writer and Professor of Philosophy at the City University of New York. He is the author of more than ten volumes on subjects of philosophy and literature.
