It has been suggested that by adopting insect pest management, the global crops could be doubled. This book, therefore, should help shed some light on crop damage by grasshoppers and the results of such studies will be instrumental in understanding and devising population management strategies and should especially be useful tofarmers, entomologists, agriculturists, or any one else who may be considering to take a lead role in crop production.

Dr.Tariq Ahmad has obtained his PhD degree in Entomology in 2005. Since then he has worked in different reputed projects in the field of Biosystematics,Ethology,Bionomics & Biological Control. He is the author of several papers & book chapters published in reputed and peer reviewed journals and is member of a different international working groups.
