The era of preventive and minimal invasive dentistry orates the need for developing newer approaches to remineralize early carious lesions. Presently, commercially available non-fluoride-based remineralization therapies focus on enhancing fluoride efficacy and at the same time minimizing the plausible risks associated with fluoride. Nonetheless, these non-fluoride remineralizing agents have shown promising results in augmenting the remineralization process and managing the non-cavitated, white-spot lesions invasively. Still, clinical evidence for most of them is limited. With further research in future, these novel enamel remineralization systems might pave way for dental professionals to provide better oral health care to pediatric patients.
