Krishna Murari received the B.Tech. degree in electrical engineering from WBUT, India, in 2010, the M.E. degree in power systems from Thapar University, India in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India in 2019. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Electrical Engineering Department, Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India. Previously, he served as a Visiting Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at The University of Toledo, Toledo, Ohio, USA. He also worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Clarkson University, Potsdam, New York, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Energy Production and Infrastructure Center (EPIC) at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. He is the recipient of the Prize Paper Award from the Industrial Automation and Control Committee of the IEEE Industry Applications Society for his research work presented at the IEEE IAS Annual Meeting 2021 in Vancouver, Canada. He is a reviewer in journals, such as IEEE, IET, MDPI, and Taylor Francis journal. His research interests include power system analysis, power flow studies, demand-side management, optimization and control of DERs, optimal power flow, distribution network pricing, and smart grid. Ravi Bhushan presently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India. He obtained his B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from Bhagalpur College of Engineering, Bhagalpur, India, in 2009, and later pursued his M.Tech. degree in Power Systems from the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT BHU, Varanasi, India, in 2011. In 2018, he completed his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, amassing over 10 years of teaching and research experience. Dr. Bhushan has shared his expertise through numerous expert talks in workshops, faculty development programs, and short-term courses across the nation. His primary research interests encompass Power Systems Stability and Control, Renewable Energy Systems, and Optimal Control. He holds senior membership in IEEE and actively participates in professional organizations like IEEE Power & Energy Society, and IEEE Control Systems Society, alongside being a life member of various esteemed engineering associations such as the Institute of Engineers (India), Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG). With a notable publication record of over 15 research papers in reputable international journals and conferences, he also contributes as a reviewer for distinguished journals and conferences, and has served as a Guest Editor for the Distributed Generation & Alternative Energy Journal. Sanjoy Kumar Parida is presently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Patna. He has completed his PhD in Power Systems Group in the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Kanpur in the year 2009. During his PhD program, he was awarded the senior research fellowship (SRF) by Power Management Institute, NTPC Ltd. Noida in the year 2007. In this program, has devised a novel frequency regulation mechanism based on frequency linked free governor mode of operation for Indian electricity supply industry. He has received Young scientist award by DST, Govt. of India in the year 2010 for the project Integration of Distributed Generation System to Improve the System Reliability. He has received Bhaskar Advanced Solar Energy (BASE-2015) Research Fellowship awards by Indo US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF), DST, Govt. of India in the year 2015. In this program, he has worked on Cost based dynamic load dispatch in parallel converter based microgrid. Also, he has received young faculty research fellowship (YFRF) award by Digital India Ltd., Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India in the year 2019. Above these, he has handled nine major projects as PI or Co-PI sponsored by DST, DietY etc. Presently, he is one of the PI in the teaching and learning center (TLC) on internet of things (IoT) sponsored by MHRD. He has authored many papers in many of the international journals and presented lot of his works in many international conferences. He is a senior member of IEEE; and is working as reviewer and technical advisor in many international journals and conferences. S. N. Singh (Fellow, IEEE) is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at IIT Kanpur and has been the Vice-Chancellor of MMMUT Gorakhpur. He has obtained his M. Tech. and Ph. D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur. Apart from a receiver ofvarious awards including Young Engineer Award of Indian National Academy of Engineering, Khosla Research Award of IIT Roorkee, Young Engineer Award of CBIP, New Delhi (India), Humboldt Fellowship of Germany and Otto-monsted Fellowship of Denmark. Sir is also a fellow of the prestigious Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), USA, Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK, Institution of Engineers (India), Institution of Electronics & Telecom. Engineers (India), and Alexander von Humboldt (AvH), Germany. Prof Singh has authored more than 500 publications in reputed Journals, Conferences, Seminars, Short Papers, Invited Papers, and Technical Reports. He has supervised more than 40 PhDs and written two Books on Electric Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution and Basic Electrical Engineering published by PHI. He has also completed more than 30 sponsored and consultancy projects. S. A. Somanreceived the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from the Maulana Azad College of Technology, Bhopal, India, in 1989 and the M.E. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, in 1992 and 1996, respectively. Currently, he is a Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay, Mumbai, India. He has authored a book titled Computational Methods for Large Power System Analysis: An Object Oriented Approach (Kluwer, 2001). His research interests and activities include largescale power system analysis, deregulation, application of optimization techniques, and power system protection.
