Autorenporträt
Amitava De completed his B.Eng. degree from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (formerly known as B E College), Shibpur, West Bengal, India, and M.Tech and Ph.D. degrees from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India, respectively, in 1989, 1991, and 1996. Later, he has spent two years at the Institute of Joining and Coating Technology, Technical University, Berlin, Germany, under DAAD fellowship. He joined Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India, as Assistant Professor in May'1998 and continued his career there to become Associate Professor and Professor, respectively, in 2005 and 2009. His research area includes joining science and technology, additive manufacturing, and numerical process modeling. Dr. Partha P. Mukherjee is full time Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Purdue University. He did his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1997 from North Bengal University, India. He did his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1999, and then completed his Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University, USA, in 2007. His research areas include electrochemical energy storage and conversion (batteries, fuel cells); mesoscale modeling and experimental analytics; safety, sustainability and resilience in energy storage and conversion systems. He has published more than 150 scientific papers in reputed and referred International Journals and Conferences. He is currently Editor-in-Chief of ASME Journal of Electrochemical Energy Conversion and Storage. Dr. Sukumar Pati is currently working as Associate Professor and Head in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar, India. Prior to joining at NIT Silchar, he worked as Post-doctoral Fellow for almost one year at Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India, after completion of his Ph.D. from Mechanical Engineering Department of the same Institute. He was awarded a Medal for attaining the second rank in B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Bengal, India. His field of expertise is evaporation and condensation, micro-scale fluid flow and heat transfer, natural and mixed convection, computational fluid dynamics, non-Newtonian fluid mechanics and droplet dynamics. He has supervised eight Ph.D. students to degree completion and supervising 6 Ph.D. candidates. He has published 105+ research papers in international journals of high repute. He is Reviewer of 50+ international journals of repute. Dr. Agnimitra Biswas did his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Regional Engineering College Silchar in 2001, M.Tech. in Thermal Engineering from National Institute of Technology Silchar in 2007, and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Silchar in 2010. His research area was Vertical Axis Wind Turbines using experimental and computational methods. He has more than 16 years of teaching and research experiences. Presently, he is working as Associate Professor in M.E. Department, NIT Silchar since August 2022. His current research areas include hybrid renewable energy systems, vertical axis wind turbines, micro-hydro-turbines, and solar energy systems. He has published more than 100 research papers till date in various referred national/international journals and conferences. He is Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (India).
