Stuttering is a very complex speech disorder found in an individual. A very common phenomenon is the fast repetition of phonemes, syllable part, syllables, words or word sequences. These repetitions occur more often at the beginning of linguistics units such as words or sentences. Many Marathi people suffered from the same disorder, there are many other symptoms (dysfluencies) like unusual lengthening, blocking of the vocal cords, filled pauses, Speaking without pauses between words, Uncontrolled breathing.The speech recognitions for normal speech has been carried out the recognition systems have been developed with maximum accuracy rate for English and other languages of the developed nations. The research for the developed of speech recognition system for Indian language is also progressing. In this research Design and development of Marathi stuttered speech database from the Marathwada region from Marathi speakers. Exploring basic spectral features such as MFCCs and LPC extracted from entire speech utterances through block processing approach for stuttered speech recognition.
