The aim of this study is to contribute to the improvement of the performance of care in health establishments in the DRC with the main objective of issuing recommendations for the implementation of quality indicators which is optimal in health establishments in DRC. Our motivation comes from the absence of accredited (or ISO 9001 certified) health establishments as well as the lack of a culture of continuous improvement in the quality and safety of care in hospitals in the DRC. Problem statement: In hospitals, monitoring quality indicators is essential for performance in the safety and efficiency of care as well as patient satisfaction. Our hospitals in the DRC are not accredited, and we note the absence of a culture of continuous quality improvement, as well as the weak application of the integrated quality approach in health establishments. Quality indicators exist in the DRC and are now recommended but would require organizational changes to put them in place which could pose obstacles.
