Worldwide Natural Disasters occur every year affecting millions of people. They cause deaths and destroy entire cities. It is estimated by the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction UNISDR that between the years 2005 and 2015 more than 700.000 persons died due to Natural Disasters and 23 million were affected, especially the most vulnerable communities, poor, children, women, disabled, foreigners and elderly. Furthermore, around US$1.3 trillion are considered lost during the same period bringing government awareness to increase risk reduction policies against disasters.
