Anterior cruciate ligament rupture is a frequent injury in sports traumatology. It mainly affects pivot athletes.Repair of the anterior cruciate ligament makes it possible to obtain a stable and painless knee, and to resume sports activities at the same level. The objective of the work was to evaluate the clinical and radiological results of an anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction using a fascia-Lata strip. This is a mixed intra- and extra-articular plasty, which provides good subjective and objective results in acute and chronic anterior laxity of the knee. This technique, known as Mac Intosh with fascia lata, was modified by J.H. Jaeger in the eighties.
