Real engines of economic development and poverty reduction, Congolese public enterprises are in a reform phase led by COPIREP. This umpteenth reform concretely started with their transformation in 2008 into limited liability companies, and finally into single-person limited companies with the accession of the DR Congo to OHADA in 2012. Through this study, we have come to the conclusion that the success of this reform program, beyond the change in form and structure already implemented, depends on the implementation of well thought-out public-private partnership mechanisms.
