Mickey Dollens played defensive line at Southern Methodist University, where he earned a full-ride football scholarship (2006). Mickey graduated with a B.A. in English and a minor in psychology, before focusing his efforts on joining the U.S. Bobsled team and competing on the America's Cup tour. Outside of his athletics and writing careers, Dollens is the owner and developer of the Dallas-based longboard company, Hilltop Boards. Mickey Dollens continues to pursue wide and varied interests.
