Recruitment has emerged as the most critical human resource function for organizational survival and success. This research is aimed to develop an indigenous effective employee scale to assess the employees work attitude as predictor of their future job performance. After the factor analysis on 41 items, 40 items were retained for the final scale. It was found that scale has cronbach alpha reliability.Results also show that this scale has significance strength of concurrent validity. Scale also depicts the significance difference among satisfactory and not satisfactory job performance of the employees. Effective employee scale has significance psychometric strengths. This scale should use in employee selection method and to improve the efficiency of selection procedures in public and private sector.
