Fabrizio Marrella, né le 15 juin 1966 à Venise, Italie. Etudes à l'université de Bologne, Italie, à l'Université de Californie, Irvine, Etats-Unis et à l'université Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne, France; certificat du Centre d'étude et de recherche en droit international et relations internationales de l'Académie de droit international de La Haye (1997); diplôme de l'Académie de droit international de La Haye (1998). Docteur en droit privé de l' université de Bologne (1999); docteur en droit de l'université Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne (mention très honorable avec félicitations, 1999), avocat, puis avocat à la Cour suprême (2015). Arbitre et jurisconsulte international. Assistant à la chaire de droit commercial international et de droit de l'arbitrage à l'université de Bologne (professeur Giorgio Bernini, 1992-1994). Chercheur puis maître de conférences (1999-2004) puis professeur (II classe) à l'Université Cà Foscari de Venise (2005-2016). Après avoir obtenu l'habilitation nationale comme professeur ordinaire de droit international et de l'Union européenne (2012, à l'unanimité du jury), nommé professeur ordinaire de droit international à l'université Cà Foscari de Venise. Enseignement des cours de droit international, droit de l'Union européenne, droit international des investissements, droit maritime et droit du commerce international.
