Red Cross: The Incorporation of Our Town is a documented history of the incorporation of the Town of Red Cross as told from the prospective of one of its founders, from the time it began its incorporation process through the first 13-years after incorporation. It details the struggles of trying to meet the incorporation requirements and of trying to get the town set up after incorporation. It will be a good guide for any community considering incorporation. Red Cross was a minimal community for meeting the incorporation requirements as set forth by the Joint Legislative Commission on Municipal Incorporations.
