Natli VanDerWerken loves Dragons. She has over 30 of them, most from the Far East, collected while serving in the Navy as a meteorologist and ASW specialist on Okinawa, Japan. Her YA fantasy books have won multiple awards. Red Dragon's Keep became an Amazon #1 Best Seller in June, 2023, WindRunner in September, 2023.A fairy tale she told her grandchildren one Christmas Eve inspired the series. The main character in each novel is based on one of them. Natli is a native Coloradan living in Aurora.
