Bart Downey was born in California in 1970, and has been a writer his whole life. He's also been a lot of other things, such as a Marine Corps ejection seat mechanic, a pizza delivery guy, a steak delivery guy, a T.V. salesman, a factory worker, a retail manager, a furniture builder, an evil wizard, and a burger-flipper. He's also been - and still is - a father to five wonderful kids, a collector of wolf art and Star Wars toys, and an avid video game junkie. He lives in a small apartment in Central Wisconsin, sometimes alone, sometimes with his kids, but all the time with these crazy people running around inside his head. Which is why he writes.
