Red Raspberries in October is an accumulation of poems many of which have earned prizes or awards throughout the years or have been published in newspapers, magazines, or chapbooks. As requested by many, I have included poems written years ago about growing up in Pennsylvania before things became busy with highways and industrial parks. The book includes several articles from the well over ten years of writing for a local paper. I hope that my work will inspire others to look at the world with a happy eye and choose those free things in life such as smelling lilacs and or just listening to the world in general.…mehr
