Kris Malori, born in Germany and now a university student, started writing as a form of escapism, by crafting unrealistic scenarios on paper. Generally, she has always been a creative visionary with the dream of proving what she is capable of. Often dismissed, belittled, and hurt, she -just like the protagonist of the novel- began to seek a temporary escape in obsession and fantasy, too drained to actually pursue her dreams, which she has gradually lost interest in due to her mental decline. Her previous novels struggling to gain recognition contributed to her initial downfall. However, after trying different jobs, she was hit with the bitter realization, that the only thing she can do is create, manifest the ideas burning in her mind and bring them to life. Ultimately, it makes her feel alive aswell and provides her with a goal and a reason. She now craves to fulfill her purpose.
