Debra Gibson was born and raised in the south. She is a Christian, one of the Jehovah's Witnesses. Debra was not a baptized Jehovah's Witness when her novel was written and published. At one time in her life, writing was her passion, but now she lives to preach the Good News about God's Kingdom.
