P. Lee Spears is a retired law enforcement officer with nearly two decades of experience. He served as the first East Tennessee Regional Training Manager for the Tennessee Department of Correction. His experience included academy instructor, hostage negotiations, special operations, internal affairs, ans gang investigations. He now serves as a policy and leadership consultant and host of the popular Mute Button Podcast which can heard on thirty plus platforms including iTunes and Spotify.
