Rabiul Hasan, a native of Bangladesh and a naturalized U.S. citizen, is a poet, fiction writer and translator of English and American literature. Hasan earned a Ph.D. in English (American literature) at Texas Tech University, and is an assistant professor of English at Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
