Romesh Kumar Salgotra, PhD Romesh Kumar Salgotra, PhD, is a Professor and Coordinator at SKUAST Jammu in India. He was an Endeavour Executive Fellow at the Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation (QAAFI), Australia and was awarded the prestigious N. E. Borlaug Fellowship by the USDA in 2015. He has participated in the Genetic Resources and Intellectual Property Rights Programme (GRIP) under the auspices of the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA), Sweden and South Africa. He was a member and representative of the Global Forum for Innovative Agriculture (GFIA), UAE. In addition, Dr Salgotra has received several grants for research projects from national and international funding agencies. Sajad Majeed Zargar, PhD Sajad Majeed Zargar is an Assistant Professor at SKUAST Kashmir in India. He has formerly served as a Visiting Professor at the Nara Institute of Science and Technology, Japan, as an Assistant Professor at SKUAST Jammu, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri (BGSB), India, and as a scientist at Advanta India Limited, Hyderabad, and TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute), New Delhi, India. Dr Zargar is a recipient of the CREST overseas fellowship from the DBT, India and a Goho grant from the Government of Japan. A member and representative of the International Plant Proteomics Organisation (INPPO), he has received several awards for his work and research.
