This book is about how transcutaneous electrical neurostimulation (TENS) can be a resource for reducing hospital costs in a post-operative unit. For this study, TENS was used in the postoperative period of inguinal hernioplasty and the consumption of medication used by patients during their stay was observed. It is therefore suggested that this resource can be used for the purposes studied.
