The failure to balance the goals of the construction process is one of the main problems faced by the projects, nearly two-thirds of the construction projects in the world have been suffered from significant problems as cost overrun of a project, delay in the specified duration of a project, and stopping the project. The delay in completing any phase of the project or completion of the entire project is considered as the most important problems. This book aims to build a system for reducing delay during the life cycle of construction projects in Iraq based on the principles of Agile construction management (ACM). For achieving this goal, the related literature has been reviewed, and a case study along with a questionnaire survey has been done to study and analyze the delay problem in Iraqi construction projects. Then a closed questionnaire and personal interviews with experts were conducted to examine the values and principles of ACM that applicable in Iraqi construction projectsand to identify the values and principles that related to reduce the delay and to propose appropriate procedures to address delay problem.
