Marvin and Linda Talso were both raised in Redwood Valley, Marvin on the Finnish colony and Linda on a grape ranch on the site of the majestic redwoods. They are retired public school teachers still living in the valley. Their grandchildren are the fifth generation of their family to live here. They have gathered most of their images from the Mendocino County Historical Society as well as public and private sources.
