Prof. Mohamed Th. S. Heikal is Egyptian national and received his PhD (1987) from the University of Tanta in Egypt. Currently he is Emeritus Professor of Mineralogy & Petrology at Tanta Univ. of Egypt, Founder of Petroleum and Mining Geology Program (PMGP, 2016) at Tanta University and Founder of Professional Master of Surveying and Mining.
