The book is divided into eight interdependent chapters. The first chapter provides an intersectional perspective on the education system and captures the differences among the educational periods. While the following chapters provide the background of the education system; deal with post-independence educational changes in Swaziland; quasi-market practices and forms of privatisation of education; policies of educational imperatives; decolonisation of the curriculum and the complexities of multiculturalism within the education system.
