""As a child, I fell in line with some of my environmental presets, but didn't understand most of them. Aware of this, and otherwise feeling helpless, I disconnected from my Instincts and turned to drowning my discontent with routine self-harming behaviors and distractions. For years thereafter, repeated behaviors reflected back that disconnect through unhealthy relationships and my perception of my self. As a young adult, I felt lost and committed to stagnation, but continued to deter from resolution with abuses and complacency. It took three brushes with both physical and spiritual death before I ever began to seek deeper roots and to piece together the lessons that I had been granted in a way that I felt I finally understood them. Now, nearing the other side of what I once expected to be an endless battle uphill, I have returned to a more steady connection with my self and with my Source. I have learned that this guiding system is always just a mindful call away -- and that it lies within and surrounding each and every one of us, just awaiting the chance to refill us with Its clarity, healing, gratitude, joy, and Unconditional Love. I have learned that every single person we meet is a reflection of the fear or the Love that we carry within us... at times, both. And, I have grown to understand this a Sacred blessing that we all are granted in order to bring us back to the Divine roots from which we all came.""
