L'auteur est maître de conférences au département de gestion de l'éducation, de politique et d'études des programmes, à l'université de Nairobi. Il a précédemment occupé le poste de Registrar, Administration à l'Université, et a également été tuteur au Kaimosi Teachers College, et chargé de cours à l'ancien prestigieux Kenya Science Teachers College.
