Before studying for the ordained ministry Pastor Julianna Wehrfritz-Hanson earned a BSc. from the University of Alberta. That was followed by an M.Div. from the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, from that seminary she also earned an S.T. M. She was ordained in 1983.The Rev. Julianna Wehrfritz-Hanson has been preaching for over forty years as she served in parish ministry. Almost all of her ministry has been in congregations located in the province of Alberta in western Canada. She has had the benefit of not only preparing and preaching many, many sermons over the years but also of listening to the sermons of her husband who also is a Lutheran pastor. Although retired they both continue to write and preach in area congregations who are needing a preacher to proclaim the word in their midst.
