After a long trip through the Caribbean, full of conversations and complicities, the Londoner Eric Devon, his wife Nora and a lucid American journalist decide to travel to a Berlin--recovering from the disasters of the perverse effects of Nazism. In a city devastated by war, but full of life, the protagonists are waiting for a great surprise. This impressive time travel offers an unprecedented and refreshing view of Berlin in the late fifties.
