It is neither a bandage that is needed nor a cast. Education is not ailing or broken. Thus we strengthen the child, family, community, and focus time, energy and support to honor and enhance the person-hood that walks in our doors and soars forth, empowered to fully honor and share self through our diligence in potentiating the person.

Angelica Astor and Martha Affeld are Education professors at NAU in the US and also serve as mental health professionals. Optimistic and passionate about education's future, they share insights from their experiences teaching K-graduate students, working as administrators and supporting teachers and children through consulting.
