The 'Reimagining Architecture and Urbanism in the Post-Pandemic World' a Worldwide Post-Pandemic Illustration Collections therofre rise challenges in two ways: First, the illustrations in this book will help us to understand likely needed changes for our cities, workplaces, public spaces, retail environments, parks, residential spaces, and other elements of the built environment (together with societal repercussions). Second, the illustrations will help to document lessons learned from the pandemic around the world.

Kishwar HabibPh.D. MaHs, Urban Design, B.Arch.Post Doctoral Fellow, University of AlbertaKishwar Habib is a Post-Doctoral fellow at the University of Alberta. In addition to her academic pursuits, she is actively engaged in architectural practice both in Canada and Bangladesh. With a Ph.D. in Architecture from the Department of Architecture, University of Leuven obtained in 2019, Kishwar brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her research and professional endeavors. One of her notable contributions to the field of architecture is her involvement in various international sustainable urban design projects that integrate architecture, open space-public space design, and planning. Her ability to bridge theory and practice enables her to make valuable contributions to both academia and the real-world implementation of design principles. Exploring 'practiced' and 'lived-in' architecture is an integral part of her research with a keen interest in public spaces and urban space, ethnographic research and fieldwork, sustainable design, and analysis.Paul R. MessingerDepartment Chair and Professor of Marketing,Alberta School of Business - Marketing, Business Economics and LawPaul R. Messinger is a Professor of Marketing and Marketing Group Ph.D. Coordinator at the University of Alberta School of Business and Visiting Professor at the University of Northern British Columbia. Paul serves as Past-Chair of the Service Science Section of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) and was Founding Director of the University of Alberta School of Retailing. Paul's research focuses on service science, emerging retail formats, pandemic response, learning space, consumer behavior and pricing, 3D mediated virtual worlds, e-commerce, and recommendation systems.
