The book traces the events of these five years (1983-1987) during which the first President of the Italian Socialist Council Bettino Craxi and his emblematic Foreign Minister Giulio Andreotti had to face the unpredictable Colonel Gaddafi, then "enemy number one" declared by Ronald Reagan's United States, Italy's allies. Quentin Bodiguel débuta ses études supérieures en khâgne avant de se spécialiser dans l¿Histoire et les relations internationales. Il obtint un Master en ces domaines à l'Université de Rennes 2 tout en ayant étudié une année à l'Université de Sienne. Il s¿est ensuite orienté vers la coopération internationale, notamment au Cambodge et au Maroc.
