Valerie S Armstrong was born in London, England, and immigrated to Canada at age nineteen. During a long career in finance, associated with the health care industry, she began writing in her spare time in 2007. She is also involved in organizing social events for an anxiety support group. Valerie has one daughter, two grandchildren, and two cats.
