All indicators point to the fact that the fourth industrial revolution will be digital, and it has already begun. In this imminent perspective, three problem-solving areas through information and communication technologies are presented to us as being among the areas that will be deeply transformed. Still in their infancy in Benin, these transformations are well advanced in other countries: the educational sector through communications between learners and teachers, cybernetic cooperation in West Africa based on mutual trust and the principle of reciprocity, and finally land management and security through efficient modern processes. This trilogy does not pretend to concentrate all the priorities; but it has the merit of helping to open up the way and to guide reflection on the tangible benefits of technologies, taken as a whole, in the resolution of specific societal problems.
