Blumhofer is Director of the Institute for the Study of American Evangelicals and Professor of History at Wheaton College in Illinois and former Associate Director of the Public Religion Project. Martin E. Marty is Fairfax M. Cone Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus, University of Chicago, and former Director of the Public Religion Project.
