James H. Olthuis is Professor of Philosophical Theology at the Institute for Christian Studies in Toronto, and a psychotherapist in private practice. His publications include The Beautiful Risk: A New Psychology of Loving and Being Loved; Knowledge Otherwise: Philosophy at the Threshold of Spirituality; and Facts, Values and other Ethics: A Confrontation with Twentieth Century British Moral Philosophy.
